Description

With the Kaos Road Shoes Sidi have looked to utilise their cutting edge technology and combine it with their superb legacy in the cycling shoe industry to create not just a fantastic fitting shoe but also one that is going to allow you to transfer the most power to the road.

This all starts where the shoe makes contact with the pedal; through Sidi's Millenium 4 Carbon Composite Sole which features injected carbon fibre in a matrix of nylon to give more rigidity than the standard nylon sole. The carbon fibre reinforced sole also makes it durable without adding extra weight. It is non-water absorbent and mechanically stable making sure the sole is less given to changes in stiffness through ageing and differences in humidity and temperature. The Millenium Carbon Sole is also fitted with the standard 3-hole drilling pattern meaning that the shoe is compatible with the majority of pedal systems including the Shimano SPD-SL and the Look Keo. The sole also comes fitted with anti-slip polyurethane toe and heel inserts to make walking in the Kaos Road Shoes easier and safer.

The Soft Instep 2 is an anatomical and comfortable strap placed on the top of the foot and combined with a soft thermo-formed material. This strap will distribute pressure evenly across the arch area and is adjustable from both sides to achieve the optimal centre position. This means the Soft Instep 2 will increase performance and comfort whilst also negating the need for the High Instep Extender.
