In fact, it has the same stiffness profile as the Easton SLX II outsole but with a 22% weight savings.

Techlace Closure System Textreme® Carbon Fibre Outsole The Techlace closure system couples the benefits of laces with the convenience of a strap for superb fit and easy adjustment on-the-fly. It also eliminates the use of D-rings and other hardware, for a comfortable lightweight system. The ultralight upper is made with a Technical Monofilament Mesh material that doesn’t stretch under power. Technical Mesh is a custom fibre that is reinforced with mesh fabric and welded to Teijin TPU film to give structure and durability while enhancing fit.
